
2025 Nagato Sensei Tai Kai
Nagato Sensei is visiting Dayton, Ohio from Friday, May 30, to Sunday, June 1, 2025, to teach a three-day training event. This unique opportunity - held at the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo - will allow participants to experience Nagato Sensei’s Taijutsu and instruction in a dojo environment similar to that of training in Japan. The event is limited to 120 Bujinkan attendees. Nagato Sensei will be teaching on the tatami mats, moving around, watching and interacting with students. Steve Olsen Workshop - Dayton Bujinkan Dojo
The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo is excited to announce a Budo Taijutsu Seminar featuring Steve Olsen from Japan. The event will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 24-26, 2019 at the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo. Any Bujinkan rank is invited — new students are encouraged to attend. Steve Olsen (Bujinkan Shihan) has been training in Japan since 2001. He trains with Hatsumi Soke, Nagato Dai Shihan and Someya Dai Shihan weekly. In addition, Steve is the publisher of two arts books titled 'Masaaki Hatsumi: Dojo Art' and ‘Masaaki Hatsumi: Dojo Giga | Heaven’. He has taught yearly seminars at the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo since 2010, and we are excited to have him back! Steve will be teaching based on inspirations from Soke and the senior Shihan classes he has attended this year in Japan. The members of the Bujinkan Rocky Mountain Dojo will be traveling to Denver to attend a workshop taught by Shihan Duncan Stewart. He will be covering the Shoden Gata of Koto Ryu Koppojutsu.
